Lance Simon

Founding Attorney
  • Profile

Attorney Lance Simon founded Simon Law Group, PLLC in Suffolk County, New York in 2011. Having been through two divorces himself and witnessing the toll it took on his children, he started his firm in the hopes of helping others cope with similarly difficult situations. Lance always strives to be straightforward, compassionate, and respectful to his clients while aggressively fighting for them in their time of need.

Lance began serving others long before he began practicing law in 2008. He served in the Army where he was trained as an infantryman at Ft. Benning, Georgia. During his basic training at Ft. Benning, Lance was selected as a member of the Honor Guard as a Presidential Escort to President Bill Clinton. Lance held this position until he was honorably discharged from the Army in 1998.

Lance then attended Cardozo Law School and studied American Government at Harvard University. He continued his public service in a clerk’s position for the Honorable Arthur A. Alarcon, Judge of the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.

Commitment and vigor were necessary to succeed in the military and the clerkship—qualities which Lance carried over to his law practice. Since 2011 he has become one of the most trusted family law attorneys in the Long Island area. Super Lawyers Magazine recognized Lance in the areas of family and divorce law four years in a row.
